Dragons

Chapter 1: Fireless's Power

I flew to the lands of all the dragons, spreading the story that Torch had pushed Queen Horntail into the cliff and that I had saved her by going down the cliff and finding her there, safe and sound.

I told them that the bottom of the cliff was just an illusion, that it was paradise for dragons. So I showed them and the Queen told me what she could do to thank me. I should that we should go to war with Torch and his allies and that I can control the dragon armed forces.

She agreed and that was was and that there was no turning back.

Chapter 2: The Change

As I flew home, I also saw lots and lots of angry faces and weapons. Then I remembered that Fireless had spread that fake information about me pushing the Queen into the cliff and that he saved the Queen. Saving the Queen was true, but the rest were lies.

Then the mob threw weapons and blew fire at me. It was amazing that so many can believe the words of one dragon, just one.

But Fireless did have power, such as when he saved the Queen. I wasn't there to see it, but I did hear about it from dragons when I was traveling back home.

I tried to reason with them, but they were falling into Fireless's grip and they didn't know that they were being fed this fake information.

So I flew away as fast as I could and went to go to the superior dragons, because I need to tell them things that they don't know.

Chapter 3: Dragon City, Home of the Superior Dragons

Finally after a long day of travel, I had made it to Dragon City, the city that the superior dragons are.

The last time I went to Dragon City, it had took me about a week. This time it only took me one day. I think it's because my wings are getting stronger every time I fly. So that's good.

I went to the Tower of Dragons, where the superior dragons are talking and busy making the best choices. But I had something to tell them, something that will change everything.

The same guards from my last visit were here. I told them who I was and they let me in the tower. But first I had to go in the elevator.

"Wow! You're the same one that came to see the superior dragons the first time, right?"
they asked.

"Yes" I answered.

Chapter 4: What Happened

Then the elevator let out a little crisp ding and and the doors of the elevator opened. I went inside the room where the superior dragons were, which is door 593.

There were busy at work, talking about buildings and dragons and taxes like they always are from what I could hear in the hallway but when I knocked on the door, they are silent.

"Come in" said the voice of Forest.

I went in the room. It was filled with the faces of worried, sad and unhappy faces. It was probably because of the fake information Fireless was spreading across the land.

"I came here to tell you that Fireless is saying that the superior dragons are bad and I are bad. And also that Fireless is starting a war" I told them.

"And the Queen asks for the commander of the dragon armed forces under the order of Fireless" I said.

"I'm sorry to tell you this" I said.

"It's all right. Thank you for telling us this" thanked Forest.

Then an explosion shook the room and the building.

Chapter 5: The Attack

We exited out of the building as fast as we could. But when we got out of the Tower of Dragons, we wished that we stayed in the building instead.

It was a battlefield in the city; fires were on the houses, dragons were flying out of buildings and houses. Arrows were shot. Swords were swung.

The superior dragons, me and a few others helped the dragons to safety. But that was coming to an end as the mob of dragons stormed on the city, destroying everything in their path, even the Tower of Dragons.

Suddenly the 600 floor building fell down by the attackers and injured many dragons. And Fireless and the commander of the dragon armed forces was forced to attack upon all of us. This was a massacre.

Soon all of the buildings and houses were destroyed. The attackers left with the city's dragons as prisoners. Four of the ten superior dragons were part of Fireless and his army. Three were captured.  One, the commander of the dragon armed forces was now a part of the murderous group.

Chapter 6: Salvation

We wanted to rescue the captured dragons, but we needed to see if we could salvage a few things. Forest got a quiver full of bows and a few bows. I got a bottle of potion that one of the attackers must have dropped.

I also found ten or twenty arrows in good condition and four bows. And the other superior dragons saved some water from the fountain and found a loaf of bread and some other food. They also found two swords and some broken iron to make a sword.

Then we pooled our finds and we traded in what we found. I traded ten arrows and three bows for the broken iron and some food and water.

And we each got a slice of bread from one of the superior dragons. We thanked him dearly because food was rare here since the invaders came here and attacked.

"Now all, are we ready to attack?" shouted Forest.

The others cheered.

Chapter 7: In Firewood

All of us knew where the attackers would be in Firewood, a big city full of dragons and resources; the perfect target for the attackers to be. That's where we headed.

It was a long way to Firewood, we knew that, so I gave everyone a drop of potion. Then we were not tired for most of the journey. They all thanked me. I even had lots of potion left for all of us.

A few days later, we got to Firewood. But the city was destroyed to bits. Wood was burning everywhere. Trees were falling down from the fires that the attackers must have done. It was a mess.

Then we saw an old male dragon and a female dragon. She was covered in scars from the attackers but I have to say that even in the scars and injuries, she was beautiful. Like flowers in a meadow.

But I couldn't concentrate on the girl. I needed to focus on the problem. On the attackers that invaded this city once full of resources and dragons. Now there's nothing left in Firewood.

"This is Rosewood" said Forest.

I thought he was talking about the tree Rosewood. Rosewood is a tree that is grown in Firewood that is made for lightweight objects such as arrows and poles. Even for tables.

But he was talking about the girl; her name was Rosewood. What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl. Hard, but beautiful.

"She is staying in Firewood to protect the city in case an attack comes" said Forest.

"But the attackers will outnumber her" I said.

"But she is very, very good at fighting. She will be fine" said Forest.

But will she?

Chapter 8: Trying Again

We quickly rushed to Firetown, a small town with a gold mine and lots of resources. The superior dragons and I knew that Fireless and his massacres were attacking here next.

Firetown is very interesting in its history. There were one of the first dragon towns in the world when the first dragon was born. Most of the settlements were destroyed because of other dragons from other parts of the world. But Firetown survived. Firetown is one of the oldest dragon settlements in the world because of that.

Firetown wasn't far from Firewood, that was good. But it was bad because the attackers have a head start before us. That was bad. For us, anyway.

We arrived at Firetown soon, but the attackers beat us to the town. It was destroyed to bits like the other cities and towns. The houses were burned. The streets were naked. One of the first dragon settlements were destroyed. All because of Fireless.

But maybe it was my fault. Because maybe I made him jealous and angry. But I shook the thought away. It was Fireless's fault. And the dragons that fought with him because they thought that he was good.

But what to we do now? Keep chasing Fireless and his followers and instead get more and more cities and towns destroyed to bits and dragons falling to him as prisoners? Or think of something smart?

Chapter 9: The Meeting

"I call for a meeting" asked Forest.

Everybody came to him and he spoke with his raspy voice and his slow letters, soon forming into words which was heard into the ears of the dragons.

"We need to be smart and cunning" said Forest "We need to be there on time, before the Fireless and his army attacks the next city or town" said Forest.

" Are you suggesting that we need to be more fit?" asked one of the superior dragons' in an outrage.

Then the others started to attack Forest, so I had to divide them apart so that we would be fine and that we were at peace.

"This is what I'm talking about. That we are fighting and getting angry and so we waste so time that the attackers go and destroy another city or landmark like the Tower of Dragon that was destroyed!" shouted Forest.

"We need to be smart, to be cunning. Not be angry every time Fireless and the attackers destroy another city" said Forest in a strong voice, a voice that the superior dragons and I have heard before.

"Now we need to find a weak point of Fireless and the attackers" said Forest.

And so we did.

Chapter 10: The Weakness

We made it to Dragontown in good timing. That was good.  The superior dragons and I found the weakness of Fireless. Timing. That's all it was.

So I disguised myself as one of Fireless's attackers. The point was that I would slow them down a lot and the superior dragons would go and warn the landmark to be aware of an attack.

Then we place guards and soldiers on the landmark and soon Fireless and the attackers would be surprised at the ambush. They would leave.

But they discovered me, and I was sent to their prison, which was not a happy place. It was a cage with diamond bars so I wouldn't escape. It was madness.

Meanwhile, the superior dragons were thinking of a  plan to save Torch. It was not going so well as planned by Forest. They were all fighting.

"We can't save Torch!" shouted one of the superior dragons' .

"It is!" shouted another.

"Isn't!" shouted another one of the superior dragons' .

"Enough!" yelled Forest.

Everybody froze.

"This isn't helping Torch. They will get the information for Torch if we don't think of something. All you guys are doing is arguing" said Forest.

Then they all started to think, thinking of a good plan.

Chapter 11: Breakout

It was hard. It was hard to break out of this prison. It was all diamond. You think it might be luxerious, but diamond is madness if you are in a prison.

Because diamond is impossible to break. No material can break it. Not even fire. Diamond is hard to mine, but Fireless found it easily when he and his attackers robbed the cities and town. So it was easy for Fireless to put me in this glittering prison of his.

So I had to dig underground to make it out. I had contracted Forest and the superior dragons' to go to the prison to free prisoners and to get weapons and supplies.

It was hard, but I made it. I made it alive and free!

Chapter 12: Breaking In

I met with the superior dragons' by Fireless's fort. I bet he's building lots already as I'm here. We went over what to do; steal supplies and get as many Fireless attackers as we can. There was no plan, just this.

We carefully aimed at the guards with arrows and then we rumbled in the fort. It was huge in numbers. Because so many were from the cities and towns Fireless and the attackers had burned. But we were holding ground good so far. That was good.

They starting attacking us and from that point, we were losing. We were losing ground now. All hope was out of our grip.

Because all of the superior dragons were just getting beaten out by the attackers of Fireless. They were just laughing and kicking like they were drunk. All but Forest and I.

So we retreated away from the fort and got all of the superior dragons' to a safe place.

Chapter 13: Back to Dragon City

We went back to Dragon City to see what we could do about the attackers. It wasn't going well. I was losing control in my mind with the superior dragons'.

Finally after a long time of silence, a superior dragon got an idea to say. Let's hope it's a good one. All of us have been waiting for a long time for a good idea.

"We could cut their food supply" he said. "They would go hungry".

"To do that, we would need to guard the towns and cities. And that isn't going well" said Forest.

"But good try" commented Forest.

"What if we go to the other towns and cities that haven't been attacked and call a meeting?" I asked.

"That's a great idea, well done!" cheered Forest.

"We will go to the cities and towns that are not attacked and then we will call a meeting!" shouted Forest to everyone.

And everyone cheered.

Chapter 14: The Grand Meeting

We were all here. All that wanted to fight the attackers and Fireless. All that wanted to be rid of his gang, his monsters that destroy cities and towns.

"We are all here in this meeting to find a way to destroy Fireless's group as they have been destroying countless cities and towns" began Forest.

"How about fighting them?" asked one.

"That would rash and that never works" said Forest.

"Defending?" asked another.

"Good, but isn't working too" answered Forest.

"How about making a deal with Fireless while some of us go inside the fort and use gas for the attackers to be quiet and steal everything?" asked another.

"That's a great idea! Let's do it!" shouted Forest with joy.

Chapter 15: The Grand Plan

We went to the fort with a white flag. We weren't giving up. We wanted a talk. A talk that would change the war. Hopefully.

"'I'll try to talk as much as possible to drag the talk on and on" said Forest. "Good luck, all".

Then I saw Fireless sitting at the table, talking to Forest. Fireless's eyes were fixed on Forest. The plan was working. But now for the hardest part of the plan; getting in the fort and put the gas in the fort.

And it worked; we got the gas masks and got the gas and spread it all around the fort. Then we robbed everything we could and signaled Forest. It was done.

Chapter 16: For Our People

I am so angry. It was such a pain. I liked her very, very much, but she's just a spy. A worthless, stupid spy. And now she's getting paid telling Fireless all of the plans we had made to stop Fireless. Now it's all for nothing.

I'm talking about Rosewood. Such a beautiful, beautiful girl, but sometimes a beautiful girl comes with a price. That's what I learned today.

Today, we had another meeting. I was still angry, but I calmed myself down. We were talking about how we would have to go to war with Fireless if we were to win against Fireless's attackers.

We all agreed to go to war with Fireless, not because we wanted to; because we wanted to save our people from Fireless's power and greed.

We wanted to live happily for the rest of lives, but to do that, we needed to fight. To fight for freedom, for peace, and for our people.

And in front of the fort of Fireless's, Forest said the words.

"We are now at war with Fireless!"shouted the real voice of Forest.
